West Genny wins on C-NS Senior Night
Wednesday, May 21, 2008
C-NS may not have their home field to play on to end the season, but that didn’t take anything away from Senior Night. Especially since the team was facing West Genesee, a team who had a 42-and-2 all-time record against the Northstars coming into the night. And while C-NS had already clinched first place in the CNYCL National Division, a upset win over the Wildcats would be huge to end the regular season. Unfortunately it was not to be, as Luke Cometti led the way with 2 goals three assists in West Genny’s 11-6 win. James Haney led the way for the Northstars with 2 goals and 1 assist. The two teams now away their opening round playoff matchup when sectional pairings are released on Firday.
