| | TODAY: | | Right on schedule, a cold front came through this afternoon with a few showers and thunderstorms. Then, also right on schedule, the front carried most of the wet weather out of CNY by late afternoon and we'll be in fine shape for the Fourth on Friday. We are still "cautiously optimistic" about the three day Holiday weekend, even though we will still have to keep a close watch on a stalled, wavy cold front just to our south. The best chance for additional cloudiness and a few spotty showers this weekend will likely be south and east of Syracuse...the least chance north and west. By late Sunday, winds turn more southerly with warmer temperatures and possibly a spotty afternoon thunderstorm. Have a safe and fun Holiday weekend. Wayne Mahar. |
